Hi Everyone, As you are all aware, last Saturday saw our third Annual Windsor Tournament. The event was a great success with 39 archers competing of all ages and abilities. We have had lots of compliments about the Club's fantastic welcome, venue and well run event, as well as our lovely array of trophies and medals. Many are looking forward to returning in 2020. The event would not have been so successful without the support and efforts of those in planning and Members attending working parties to prepare the grounds and equipment in readiness for our visitors. For this we would like to thank everyone who has attended these sessions. However, on the day itself there also is much to do especially early in the morning to set up, the field team, runners, catering team, scoring, judging, selling raffle tickets and more. I would therefore like to record special thanks to the following people who generously gave their time which was so very much appreciated. ** Geoff & Ellen Beston, Bryan & Judy Huckvale, Sue Lee, Brian Millin, Stan Ross, Peter Faulkner, Paul Rowley, Chris Evans, Phil Benson, Sarah & Neil Fitzgerald, Terri Noone, Andrew Cross, Mike Wood, Simon Ball and not forgetting Abed, Houdeyfa & Zeyd Ajraou, Craig Stobie & Tony Nicholson who helped before and after competing. Molly for some delicious cakes and her father Tony who helped at the end of the day. ** THANK YOU !!! If I have omitted anyone, please accept my sincere apologies - I was in the scoring tent most of the day and may not have seen you We will soon be confirming the date for next year's Competition, so have your diaries ready and keep practising!
