A friendly archery club shooting on our own ground in Bulkington, Warwickshire, seven days a week. Everyone shoots together — no equipment needed to start, and every age from 8 upwards is welcome.
Nuneaton Archers is a single club shooting on our own ground in Bulkington — everyone shoots together, whatever your age or experience. Since moving onto our own ground, we've had access to shoot every day of the week, so there are far more chances to get out and shoot than a typical one-night-a-week club.
Archery is a genuinely family sport. Grandchildren, parents and grandparents can all shoot — and compete — together, whatever age they started. It's just as happy to take someone on for the first time at 60 as it is a child of 8.
Which option is right for you depends on whether you've already completed a beginners course. Current fees are confirmed by the secretary.
Complete the beginners course — for anyone new to archery, using club loan equipment.
Already completed a beginners course? Join the club with full membership, with ground access seven days a week. This price includes ArcheryGB and West Midlands Archery Society memberships.
No — you don't need to buy anything to begin. The club has loan bows available at very low cost, and it's better to hold off buying your own kit until you've completed a beginners course and had a chat with one of the coaches about what suits you.
We welcome archers from age 8 upwards, with no upper age limit at all. It's a sport you can start very young and stay with for life, or come to for the first time much later on — everyone shoots together on the same ground.
Yes. Our ground has wheelchair and disabled access, and parking is very close to the shooting area. Archery lends itself well to adaptive coaching, and coaches are happy to adjust sessions so everyone can take part — and compete, if they'd like to.
Very much so — archery is a genuine family sport. Grandchildren, parents and grandparents can all shoot together on the same ground, and compete together too if they choose to.
No booking fee, no obligation to join, and no equipment to bring. Contact the club secretary to arrange a taster session and come along.
